Movie news: 

According to Deadline, we have our first castings for the Vampire Academy movie.  It looks like Zoey Deutch, Lucy Fry, and Danila Kozlovsky will be joining the movie.  Zoey will be playing Rose, Lucy will be playing Lissa, and Danila was cast as Dmitri.  What do you guys think of this casting?  I’m actually pretty pleased with it.

Delirium by Lauren Oliver has been picked up for a TV show from Fox!  Zap 2 It has all the gory details including some changes you can expect when the book is adapted to TV.

The Divergent movie has a release date.  Put March 31, 2014 on your calendars, guys.  You won’t want to miss this one.  For more information, as well as some possible casting choices, head over to Latinos Post!

I’m sure you guys have seen news of this floating around but in case you missed it, this past weekend was ALA.  The youth media award winners were announced.  You can check them all out over at American Libraries’ website.
